This exhibition sheds light on a lesser-explored facet of Northwest Coast art - women’s contributions to the rich tradition of carving wood and argillite. Featuring more than 125 works of art including poles, panels, masks, bowls, and other sculptures all intertwined with traditional knowledge, the works are on loan from public and private collections across North America. The exhibition focuses on a selection of carvers active from the 1950s to present, and showcases the works of influential artists like Ellen Neel and Freda Diesing, alongside the voices of senior, mid-career, and emerging artists. Calling all knitters and crocheters! Head to the Whistler Public Library on the first Thursday of the month for Stitches in the Stacks, their "fiber arts" night. This group is free to attend. Remember to bring your own supplies. Lessons are not available during these sessions, but you may be able to get advice from other attendees! Drop-ins are welcome, no registration is required.

A support group is designed for individuals who have experienced a concussion or are managing the long-term effects of one. The goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment to connect participants with community specialists, share crucial recovery information, and foster a sense of community among participants. Throughout the 8-week sessions, there will be various guest speakers  specializing in different areas of concussion recovery. Registration is required.
