The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and efficient and there was no waiting time.
Place was clean with nice sitting/fitting area.
They went the extra mile and also had a great sense of humor and knowledge of the mountain and ski conditions and recommendations. Prices were great and equipment a step above other places, with specific high performance equipment available. This is our third season with them and we will be back!

This team and their services made everything so convenient. I knew I’d be tired from traveling all day so I booked to meet them at my condo at 7 pm. They arrived promptly and happened to bring 5 choices of skis … the quantity of choices may have had something to do with the me having trouble describing my skiing abilities. Due to the weather conditions I wanted to try some fat skis. After Day 1 I decided to switch to lighter parabolic skis that were slightly shorter. Since they were located close to my room (Mountainside Lodge) I switched them out and it was no trouble. The K2s were awesome! They also offered to pick up my skis at the lodge after I was done but instead I dropped them off due to their convenient location. It was so much nicer than lugging my own skis and poles during my travels and more reasonable than renting through the ski resort. This was my second booking with Black Tie and I’d definitely do it again.

We returned our gear here. They are conveniently located near the gondola and the return process was quick and easy. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. And in fact, they readily gave us a refund for a day we sat out because of injury, which I think was above and beyond their stated policy, so a big shout out to the staff and company!
Beyond that, we arrived at Whistler late and didn't have a car, so their late night delivery option was a big plus for us, and their change-out policy let my son change out a board he didn't like for one he loved! And he was able to use his step-on bindings with their equipment.
All in all, A+.

Rented numerous times from this shop. Always great staff, including some who have been around for a couple of years. Better equipment and cheaper than the American/Vail-owned Whistler Blackcomb rentals in the Daylodge nearby.
Also highly recommend the Control Room Bootfitters located in the back of the Upper Village branch

We rented from the Le Chamois shop at Blackcomb (right next to Whistler). The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. The equipment was in excellent condition and they had several different brands / designs of ski to choose from, even within each tier of the pricing structure. The only thing which confused me a bit was how to locate the shop closest to my lodging for pickup as I didn't want or need delivery.
