Private Ski and Snowboard Lessons
A Private Lesson is your most customizable option. Discover more of the mountains, or use it as a way to ski with your family or group of friends. With up to two tots of similar ability per guide or five kids of similar ability per guide for a fixed price, get more from your visit. This is your day, and we guarantee to make the most of your valuable time here. To top it off, our Privates instructors are all top pros from around the world who speak a variety of languages and is on request basis. Enjoy lift line and lunch time seating priority to spend more time learning and less time in line. This truly is the ultimate mountain experience! All Kids Private Instructors have specific training to teach children and ensure they get the most out of their day. Flaik GPS progression tracking system provided. Guests can choose to start from the base of Whistler, Blackcomb or Creekside (Level 3+ only).

Multi Day Ski Camps
Adventure Ski Camp: Creekside or Blackcomb (3-12 years old)
A week full of fun events, activities, and tons of mountain discovery. Adventure Camps commence on Monday morning, where your children will get comfortable fast as they have the same instructor all week. The kids get to know other kids, the instructor really gets to know the kids and lasting friendships often blossom. This is an enhanced learning progression that ends up in measurable results. Fun is just the beginning. *Does not include lift ticket. 3 Day Camps meet at Creekside Base, 5 Day Camps meet at Whistler Village or Blackcomb Base.

Lesson Information
Private Lessons - Build your confidence and explore the mountains with a pro who matches your exact needs. Go one-on-one or create your own group with up with up to two tots of similar ability per guide or five kids of similar ability per guide. You can select pros by specific languages, skill set, and certification level. Plus, we have the highest certified pros with the most teaching and guiding experience. Lunch is not included in the cost of a private lesson. Lift line priority including fast upload at the base of Whistler, Blackcomb, or Creekside (level 3+). A pass or lift ticket will be required for all lesson participants. Private lessons run from November 22, 2024 to April 21, 2025 and must be booked online at least 5+ days in advance.
Group Lessons - Give your child a passion for the mountains and watch them develop a love of skiing or snowboarding in a small group setting. World-class instructors are committed to providing your child with a safe and fun experience. Group lessons have a maximum group size of eight participants (four for ages 3-4) and include a hot lunch and lift line priority. A pass or lift ticket will be required for all lesson participants. Group ski and snowboard lessons run from November 28, 2024 to April 21, 2025. All lessons must be booked online at least 2+ days in advance.
Lift Tickets - All guests must have a lift ticket or pass to ski or ride.
Drop off is from 8:30 AM. Please arrive earlier on the first day of your lessons if you need to pick up tickets and rentals. Lunch is included. Pick up time is between 3:00 - 3:15 PM from the base area. You will be required to sign a form, releasing your child from the class at the end of the day.
All kids group lessons are full day.
Helmets are mandatory for all children ages 3-18 years participating in our ski and snowboard programs.
Your Child's Day
Your child will spend the day with their instructor and group sliding, exploring, laughing, learning and playing.
If your child has special dietary requirements please discuss them with your Travel Consultant when making your reservation and again when you arrive to drop off your child. Please be aware that Whistler Blackcomb tries to operate "nut free" facilities so they ask that you do not pack any nut products should you choose to pack your own lunch or snack.
An example of lunch are veggies or fruit, a juice box, a daily hot option and a package of cookies. Your child will eat lunch with the kids in their group while a lunch monitor oversees the room.
Actual time on snow will vary depending on weather conditions, the group's ability and stamina. Some groups will take a quick 30-minute lunch with no breaks and others, usually those who are at the early stages of learning to slide on snow and those groups with younger children, will take more frequent breaks throughout the day to rest and recuperate.
Pick up time is between 3:00 - 3:15 PM from the base area. You will be required to sign a form, releasing your child from the class at the end of the day.
Before You Arrive:
- Ensure that they are well rested, have eaten breakfast, and have recovered from jet lag.
- Bring them dressed and ready to ski or snowboard.
- Don't worry about tears! Instructors are kind, caring and trained to calm the fears of your child.

What To Bring:
Remember, weather conditions can change rapidly. Please ensure that your child is equipped with the following and that all belongings are labeled.
- Helmet: mandatory for all children and teens aged 3-18 yrs participating in ski and snowboard programs.
- Warm hat and neck gaitor
- Goggles and/or sunglasses depending on the weather
- Sunscreen and lip balm applied. They will reapply after lunch.
- Waterproof & insulated mittens, gloves, jacket and pants
- Long underwear and turtleneck
- Warm dry socks
