Top-tier talent comes together to shine on stage at Whistler Olympic Plaza, with free, outdoor concerts all summer long. A diverse range of Canadian and international performances are set in a stunning landscape. Grab an early dinner from nearby restaurants or opt for takeout to enjoy picnic style. Bring your blanket and settle in on the great lawn, or dance up at the stage to live DJ sets before the headlining performers begin at 7:30. Free transit and bike valet are available for all concert dates.

Sunday, August 4 – Sunday Sessions

Sunday Sessions bring festival vibes to the Plaza as major touring acts and talented local musicians come together for afternoon performances. Whistler-based musicians Taylor James and Ryan Harris kick off the inaugural Whistler Summer Concert Series Sunday Session, followed by headliners Gone Gone Beyond and Bahamas.

Fort Knox Five is bringing DC to BC! Known for fusing live instrumentation with electronic production the group helped pioneer a modern funk movement. Founder, DJ, and Producer Steve Raskin, brings a rare Live Band experience to the West Coast, curating an all-star ensemble that combines FK5’s Washington DC roots with some of B.C.’s top musical talent. The Trans-Canada Highwaymen (TCH) is a supergroup consisting of Moe Berg (The Pursuit of Happiness), Chris Murphy (Sloan), Craig Northey (Odds) and Steven Page (ex-Barenaked Ladies). Four guys who have known each other for decades now, all of whom have written songs that have contributed to Canadian culture, like “I’m An Adult Now,” “The Other Man,” “It Falls Apart,” and “Brian Wilson.” The TCH live show includes selections from their album Explosive Hits Vol. 1 along with the Barenaked Ladies, The Pursuit of Happiness, Sloan & Odds tracks everyone knows and loves. Alongside Vancouver’s Next Drag Superstar winner Androgynass and Genesis, Drag Derby winner Dolly H, Tiffany Ann Co, Bibi Souphresh, Batty Banks Hazel and more!

Artists: Boy & Bear with special guest Boo Seeka
Boy & Bear has attained a level of staying power that most artists could only dream of while maintaining their authentic vision and driving love for their craft. In addition to their five consecutive top 10 albums and over 250 million streams, Boy & Bear’s live show is a uniquely compelling experience that has earned the band a glowing reputation as one of Australia’s most outstanding live acts. Australian electro-pop star Boo Seeka is opening for Boy & Bear on their North American tour and will join the show at the Plaza. Sunday Sessions bring festival vibes to the Plaza as major touring acts and talented local musicians come together for afternoon performances. This long weekend features Sea to Sky-based musicians Little Biggs Band, JennaMae and The Groove Section and Cat Madden, followed by headliner Kim Churchill.

Saturday, September 7

Artists: Famous Players Band with DJ Rich-A
Recognized as the best live music band in Vancouver and across Western Canada, Famous Players Band's fun-filled, energetic and infectious live performance features music from the 50s to 80s, and from top 40 to all-out rock. DJ Rich-A, the official DJ for award-winning artist SonReal, keeps the crowd warmed up in between sets.

Movies in Olympic Plaza

Experience a variety of free films, spanning from timeless classics to recent releases, amidst the scenic backdrop of Whistler Olympic Plaza on Wednesday and Saturday nights. All movies begin at 8 PM. Don’t forget to bring blankets or low chairs for a cozy evening under the stars.

This is an outdoor event and temperatures in the mountains can change quickly. Please dress accordingly and bring warm clothing and blankets to ensure you stay comfortable throughout the evening.

In the event of bad weather, Movies at Whistler Olympic Plaza may be cancelled to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees. Cancellations will be announced by 4 PM on the day of the screening. Please check the Resort Municipality of Whistler website for updates before heading to the plaza.
